Reboot yourself…

August 5th, 2010

We rely on computers for just about everything in our lives. Whether for our own personal use or at work, these machines have become an integral part of how we access, transfer and process information.

I am sure that at some point in time we all have had some experience with our computers acting up, freezing and causing issues. We all know our immediate response to resolve this is to press the reset button to reboot it. Most all of us have seen firsthand the power of the reset button and once pressed, like clockwork, we are back on track and ready to resume our task as if nothing happened. We are back in the moment…

This begs the question, are humans really that different from computers? Machines may be working a lot faster than us, but I can think of some similarities. Imagine this thought: Your mind is the processor; the core of the entire machine. As long as there is activity to this processor, you exhibit various levels of behavior. With machines, when something goes wrong we reboot and start again fresh. With humans, why don’t we “reboot” our minds when it is clouded by negativity? Machines are not alone in having a reset button. It exists in humans as well. You will find the button if you wish to find it. Press it when you are ready to cleanse yourself and reboot.
